All our cakes are made from scratch to make them extra yummy! We always try and make cakes to match your requirements and always try to ensure we get everything how you want it.
We have over 20 years experience in making and decorating cakes. We make a variety of flavours from Madeira, Victoria sponge, Moist chocolate cake, genoise cake with jam and butter cream or if you prefer chocolate ganache. These are just a few, there are many more flavours we cater for.

Jackie has over 20 years experience in making and decorating cakes. She founded Calendar cakes from her home in Leeds several years ago and since has built a great reputation of providing visually stunning and great tasting cakes. Jackie can work off the smallest ideas and provide masterpieces within a really short time.

Here you will find all the information you need the table below acts as a guide so that you can make the right choices, we always advise going as big as you can, that way you get extra cake to enjoy at home after your guests have finished!
The number of portions will obviously depend on the size of slice you cut, however as a general rule, for fruit cake slices are based on a 1 inch square, sponge cakes slices are much larger.

Additional cutting cakes are also available if you have a large number of guests and need more cake portions without the expense. Cutting cakes are plain iced cakes but your guests will not know the difference.
Fruit cake has traditionally been used for wedding cakes, and if you wish to save your top tier for your anniversary or as a christening cake, fruit cake should be used as it will last a long time. Otherwise I can supply any combination of cake types that suits you, whether all fruit, all sponge, or a mixture of both. Fruit cake can be made with or without nuts and alcohol (although it tastes better with the booze!).Sponge cakes include the following flavours, genoise, chocolate, lemon, vanilla. If you want any other flavours please ask us.
If you would like to order a plain wedding cake, and decorate it yourself with flowers from the florist. That is not a problem aswel, just let us know when making your enquiry.

If you or any of your guests have a nut allergy, I can omit nuts from all fruit cake recipes and can use an extra layer of sugar paste instead of marzipan. However I must advise you that the cakes will be made in a kitchen using nuts or nut products.
